Old Hobart Goal was built in 1831. Part of the goal was converted into law offices and these were in use until 1983.
St David’s Cathedral is considered the best creation by George Bodley outside England, and is a truly beautiful building.
The Hobart Yacht Club, just north of the city is famous for the finish line for the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
The Cadbury (Claremont) Chocolate Factory was built in 1922 and is the most visited tourist attraction is Tasmania. Cadbury conducts tours daily Monday to Friday (closed public holidays) and is a must for the family.
