Geelong located 75 kms from the Melbourne CBD and is Victoria's second largest city, with a population of 137,220. Twenty two percent of the people living here were born outside Australia. The climate in Geelong averages from 13 to 25 degrees in summer (January) to 5 to 14 degrees in winter (July).
Geelongs waterfront is north-facing and the waterfront is lined with eateries, landscaped gardens and walking paths. Eastern Beach is very close by with its art deco-style pool, promenade complex.
